As part of the nationwide selection process for the new school textbooks, the Ancient Greek textbooks for all three grades of lower secondary education (Gymnasium), developed under the scientific guidance and coordination of Professor Marisa Fountopoulou, achieved particularly high selection rates: 52% in the first grade, 48% in the second grade, and 54% in the third grade.

In addition, the textbooks for the Homeric Epics in the first and second grades achieved a 100% selection rate in their respective categories, representing two instances of exclusive selection.

These results highlight the positive response of the educational community to the team's scholarly and authoring work, as well as to the pedagogical approach developed for the teaching of Ancient Greek in lower secondary education.
