The Laboratory of Counseling Science and Vocational Career is a newly established laboratory in the Department of Educational Studies. Founded in 2020 it is based at the School of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. The Laboratory of Counseling Science and Vocational Career promotes research and practice on current counseling’s interventions and techniques, individual and group counseling, school career guidance, production of educational and research material, career assessment, career counseling education and training, career information and experiential workshops and programs related to self-knowledge, career management skills and meta-competencies.

The scientific associates of the Laboratory consist of Mrs. Katerina Argyropoulou, Associate Professor of Vocational Guidance and Career Decision Making of the Department of Educational Sciences, other faculty members, as well as specialised career counselors who hold Master Degrees and Doctorates.
The Laboratory of Counseling Science and Professional Career is housed on the 5th floor of the School of Philosophy (office 547).
