ERASMUS+

Erasmus+  is the EU funding programme for education, training, youth and sport 2021-2027. The  National and Kapodistrian University of Athens  participates in the Erasmus+ Programme and has been accredited by the European Commission with the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education:  31475-EPP-1-2014-1-GR-EPPKA3-ECHE  (Institutional Erasmus Code:  G ATHINE01).

Exchange students are being accepted only from partner universities with which there are signed bilateral agreements.

In order to plan their study programme Erasmus students should consult the study programs offered by the NKUA. Then, students should contact their home university coordinator and ask for the approval of the courses they have selected.

Courses offered by the Department of Educational Studies

It is strongly suggested that students select courses from the above list offered by the Department of Educational Studies.

Incoming students to the Department as part of the Erasmus programme have the option of being examined or submit an essay in English for the courses they select.

Courses in the Department of Educational Studies are taught in Greek. Also, the Modern Greek Language Teaching Centre of the University offers Greek language courses to incoming students. Students who have succeeded in the examinations at the end of each semester obtain 6 ECTS credits.
