BRIDGES: Approval of Erasmus+ 2025 Funding for the Laboratory of Counseling Science and Vocational Career

The Laboratory of Counseling Science and Vocational Career announces the approval of its proposal under the Erasmus+ 2025 Programme in the field of School Education.
The project entitled Building Relationships, Inspiring Development, Guiding Empowerment and Sustainability – BRIDGES aims to “build bridges” of sustainable career development for students in schools located in remote areas of Greece, Italy, and Spain.

The members of the project implementation team aim to contribute to the development of innovative counseling practices that respond to the specific needs of local communities and can be effectively implemented in regional contexts.

The collaboration with Ithaca Gymnasium, IES AL Baytar in Benalmádena, Spain, and Istituto Comprensivo S. Bagolino in Alcamo, Sicily, constitutes a valuable opportunity to support students and teachers operating in environments with limited resources and career guidance opportunities.

The project involves Associate Professor Katerina Argyropoulou, Director of the Laboratory of Counseling Science and Vocational Career; Professor Christos Parthenis, Director of the Intercultural Education Studies Lab; Assistant Professor Anastasia Gkotovou from the University of Ioannina; and the specialized career counselors of the Laboratory of Counseling Science and Vocational Career, Aspasia Karavia, Eirini Andrioti, and Olympia Chaidemenaki.
